EG Solar’s focus is on reducing energy bills and providing a green and sustainable future for generations to come, built on a combined experience of over 20 years in solar PV (Photovoltaic) and renewable energies.
We believe that harvesting this natural resource is paramount to sustainability and understand that in this race to protect and save our planet there has to be clarity. And in this complex and competitive marketplace we believe that integrity, trust and honesty is the only way to drive change.
We strive to work “Everyway Efficient” in cost and process, creating solutions to offer more control back to you, from initial design and survey all the way through to aftercare and maintenance.
To maintain control, all personnel report direct to EG Solar. A copy of our Health & Safety statement, which complies with the Welfare at Work Act 1989, is included in our safety manual. The following summarise the way we work.
Provide adequate control of health and safety risks arising from our work, We also act swiftly to incorporate new legislation or changes in best practice standards.
At EG Solar, we aim to continually improve our health and safety performance and we review our arrangements annually as our company changes.
All of our electricians undertake yearly health & safety training. 100% of our staff have CSCS as a minimum & our management have SSSTS as a minimum.
We are proud member's of CHAS & Constructionline, we hope this shows our clients that we take our responsibility of health and safety very seriously.
Social Value
Giving back to the local community and beyond
The directors at EG are constantly looking for ways to improve our social value, whether it be sponsoring a local football team or donating to charities in third world countries, we are huge believers in giving back.
Providing Young People with Opportunities
We have had the pleasure of working with some incredibly talented and hard-working young people through our apprenticeship programme, so we see how important it is for them to be given the opportunity to begin their career.
While school, college and university offer one route into the electrical industry, this is often not suitable for everyone. This is where apprenticeships can be particularly valuable as they allow those who may not perform as well in a traditional educational setting to develop their skills and learn their trade.
Hiring Local Staff & Creating Jobs in The Community
We are aiming to hire a minimum of 25% of our staff from our local community in order to give back and create as many opportunities as we can in the area. We are also striving to offer local schools workshops, inspiring them with the latest in technologies and teaching them how they too can look after their world through renewable energy.
